How long it takes. Most of our roofing projects run approximately one to two working days. That is the typical range, not a promise about your roof: size and pitch, how the property is accessed, how many tear-off layers come off, the roofing material, the condition of the decking once it is open, whether ventilation work is included, the weather window and anything hidden we find can all move it. The schedule goes in the written proposal, and we tell you the same day if something we find changes it.
Warranty differs by material. On shingle, GAF’s System Plus Limited Warranty may apply on qualifying systems, subject to GAF eligibility, terms and conditions. On metal, the manufacturer’s coverage sits with the panel substrate and its coating, warranted separately. Our own workmanship warranty is the same either way: one year on a repair, five years on a replacement.
Keeping it clear afterwards. Debris that sits in valleys and behind penetrations keeps the surface damp and is the cheapest problem to prevent. We remove leaves and roof debris, especially through the fall, and clean roof surfaces exteriorly. The method follows the material: asphalt shingles need a gentler approach than metal, and GAF’s technical guidance advises against power washing shingles because the pressure can dislodge the granules that shield the asphalt. We do not apply one pressure specification to every roof.
