HIDDEN DAMAGE POLICY
We never paint over rotted or damaged surfaces.
Paint hides a problem for one season and then peels off it. Anything we cover has to be sound first, or covering it is just delay dressed up as work.
If rotted wood, failed caulking, moisture damage, or damaged sheathing is discovered during surface prep, we stop and document with photos. A written Change Order is provided before painting continues.
